Have you ever sat down and written Jesus a letter? Tell Him what's in your heart.
Dear Jesus,
I am writing this letter to You today and thanking you for showing me Your way. Forever, I'll be grateful and praise Your name. I'll never forget the reason You came. Just to think...you'd leave heaven and come to earth to experience human life and a human birth. Having a virgin mother and creator God for a Dad fills my life with joy and makes my heart glad.
Knowing You'll be back soon to take me away lightens my burdens and brightens my day. My heart is filled with Your glory, O God. It's a joy to walk with You having feet perfectly shod. You said that I'm now seated in a heavenly place. You said, Share the Gospel with all human race. It's a joy to tell others you died for them and to share with sinners that only You forgive sin.
So, today, I submit my work unto you. Just guide the way and I'll make it through. Others will be treated like I'd like them to treat me. My light will be shining and only Your face they'll see. When I close my eyes tonight to sleep, I'll dream about You and my dreams will be sweet. When I awake in the morning I'll imagine Your arms, I'll have perfect peace and feel no alarm.

Beauty for Ashes
I must have cried a million tears
The pain has taken its toll through the years.
My past is forgiven and my slate is wiped clean.
Now beauty He has given and no ashes can be seen.
What He has done for me, He will also do for you.
If only you'll believe that His word is true.
Just ask Him now to forgive all your sins
He will do it for you as your new life begins.
Sorrow looks back.
Worry looks around.
Faith looks up.
To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion---to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit---that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
