You're in Control, Lord

I know you raised me up, Lord

To worship and praise your name.

Since I've come to appreciate that fact

My life has never been the same.

You said that you have chosen me

Before all time began.

To walk in a life of service to you

And to love my fellow man.

You said those who love you are perfect in Your sight,

You are well pleased

I claim all your anointings and giftings

You have already destined for me to receive.

Most people wish to serve God-but only

in an advisory capacity.

Humble yourselves [feeling very insignificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up and make your lives significant].
