Dare to be an Eagle and Fly?

O, that I had wings of an Eagle!

I would soar high above this land.

I could rest on lofty mountaintops

I would sing and shout praises unto Him.

O, That I had wings of an Eagle!

So I would never flounder and fall.

I would rest on all of God's promises

I would learn to trust in them all.

O, That I had wings of an Eagle!

I could fly high and be close to Him.

I would feel the brush of the angels' wings

And know the glorious pleasures He alone brings.

It's not the outlook but

the uplook that counts.

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power: they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]: they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Isaiah 40:31
